"The SAIL Cake"

Not a wedding cake but standing strong among the other tall beauties.

This showpiece was created in celebration of the 50th anniversary of SAIL Amsterdam and displayed at the iconic Amrath Hotel. It features fully hand-piped details, from the compass rose to the lettering, alongside vanilla shortbread sailboat cookies, each decorated as a nod to the Delfts Blauw motifs seen throughout the city. The Art Deco-inspired typography reflects its historic setting, while delicately handcrafted sugar blossoms symbolise soft waves.
